1.2. By using our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Provided
2.1. Melbourne Voltage offers electrical services, including installations, repairs, and maintenance, in accordance with Australian standards.
2.2. All services are subject to availability and may require prior booking.
2.3. Any estimates or quotes provided through the website or in writing are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise specified.
3. Booking Process
3.1. To engage our services, you may request a booking through our website or via phone.
3.2. Upon confirming your booking, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information about the service required.
3.3. Melbourne Voltage reserves the right to accept or decline a service request at its discretion.
4. Payment Terms
4.1. Payment for services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2. Invoices will be issued at the completion of the service and are payable within 14 days.
4.3. In the event of late payments, Melbourne Voltage reserves the right to charge interest on overdue amounts or pause future services until payments are cleared.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
5.1. You may cancel or reschedule a service by providing at least 24 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled appointment.
5.2. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee of [insert fee].
5.3. Melbourne Voltage may need to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances and will communicate any changes as soon as possible.
6. After-Hours Servicing Fee
6.1. Melbourne Voltage provides after-hours services for emergencies or requests outside of regular business hours.
6.2. An after-hours servicing fee applies to any service provided after 4 PM on weekdays or any time during weekends and public holidays.
6.3. The after-hours fee will be communicated and agreed upon at the time of booking.
6.4. This fee is in addition to the standard service rate and will be reflected in the final invoice.
7. Service Warranties
7.1. We stand by the quality of our workmanship and offer a lifetime warranty on our labour on all electrical work provided.
7.2. The warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, alterations by others, or circumstances outside Melbourne Voltage’s control, i.e faulty products provided by manufacturers.
8. Limitations of Liability
8.1. Melbourne Voltage will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including but not limited to, loss of business, revenue, or data.
8.2. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
8.3. You are responsible for ensuring that our technicians have safe and adequate access to the property to complete the work.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1. All content on the Melbourne Voltage website, including but not limited to text, images, and graphics, is owned by or licensed to Melbourne Voltage.
9.2. You are not permitted to copy, reproduce, or use any content without our prior written consent.
